Portable

The Nascita birth stool is only 3.5 kg (8 lb) and folds up for easy carrying.

Compact

The birth stool is 55 x 41 x 12 cm (21.75 x 16 x 4.75 in) when folded to allow it to fit in tight spaces with your equipment.

Easy to Clean

We designed every component with infection prevention and control (IPAC) in mind. The entire stool can be easily disassembled. All parts are wipe-able. There are no internal cavities to clean. The legs are solid and the seat is watertight. All materials used are compatible with cleaning products.

Labour Options

The Nascita Stool supports a variety of positions to allow your clients to personalize their birth experience

  • The stool has side, front and rear handles for support during use
  • Rubber feet offer traction to help prevent slipping
  • The stool can be used in the shower and fits in most bathtubs

Perfect!

I have a small home birth practice and wanted a birth stool that folded down but felt sturdy and had a wide seat. I am so glad I found this stool, and so glad I waited to purchase it! The customer service was also excellent, as the anticipated production date was pushed out several times, but they always kept me up to date on when I could order next. So happy with this purchase! Best stool on the market!

I was on the search for a birth stool for a year+ and had hard time finding one on the Canadian market, then I came across Nascita. I'm glad I waited, Nascita is very sturdy, lightweight and compact birth stool. No need to worry about losing parts when putting away as it folds beautifully for storage. On top, it's a breeze to clean and IPAC friendly.

Incredible!

I LOVE this birth stool. As a Registered Midwife I'm always looking for creative, easy to clean solutions for clients to support with labour. I especially love the handles, which oldschool birthstools don't have. It folds up and fits well in my car, doesn't require assembly. Great product, highly recommend!! A++

Such a great design!

I am so so pleased with this stool. For years I have searched for something compact and IPAC-compliant and sturdy - and this stool checks every box! You can tell it was designed by someone who has attended births. The side handles are perfect, and I love how easy it is to set up and clean up after. Great birthstool

Lightweight and easy to assemble and breakdown. Easy to wipe and clean. Stable and wide and comfortable enough for a variety of body types and sizes. Have tried a variety of birthstools over the past 25+ years in practice and this is my favourite by far.

At first look....

I just received my stool from Nascita. I haven't had a chance to use it with a client yet, but I'm very happy with my inspection of it. It's light enough to be easy to carry, it sets up super easily, and it's comfortable to sit on. The other midwives in my practice were quite interested in it too. It looks like it'll be easy to clean, and the tool you need to take it apart for a really good clean is included. I look forward to my first birth with it.
